Cafe Davis cancelled for 2008

Well, I have unfortunate news about Cafe Davis 2008. I am canceling the rest of the event for the year. My mother had routine gallbladder surgery on July 17th, developed complications, and was airlifted to a hospital in Charleston, SC. It's now July 27th and I'm still here. I plan to return to the 'Burg tomorrow, but to be honest I'm looking forward to a couple days of relaxation. I hope that all of you who were unable to attend this year will be still be able to join us for dinner sometime soon. I'll be happy to honor rainchecks. :)
